謹んで新春のご挨拶を申し上げます。新たな一年の幕開けにあたり、まずは、この一年が皆さまにとりまして、健康で佳き年となりますよう、心よりお祈り申し上げます。
私たちが日々生活している世界が、科学技術の進歩によって大きく変わろうとしています。新しい技術は、私たちがどのように使うか次第で、その価値が決まります。特にAI(人工知能)のようにリスクもインパクトも大きなテクノロジーは、人間の倫理観、価値観や感性を尊重しながら社会実装しなければなりません。それを使う人々が持つ知識やスキル、そして心の在り方が問われます。そのためには、明確なルールや法律も必要です。デジタル社会推進本部では、前向きに法制化にも取り組みます。
また、連日報道されている派閥のパーティー券の問題については、政治への信頼を大きく毀損する極めて重大な問題だと認識しています。事実確認をして、しっかりと説明することは当然のこと、デジタル化による政治資金の透明化、更には、政治資金規正法の改正や派閥の在り方も含め議論することが必要です。私自身、自民党の執行部の一員として責任政党としての信頼を取り戻すべく全力を尽くします。
最後になりましたが、香川県では昨年の統一地方選挙で自民党同志に多大なるご支援を賜り、改めて感謝を申し上げます。お陰さまで、国、県、市町が連携して政策を強力に推進する体制を整えることができました。香川県では、2025年にはサンポートに県立アリーナ、大学、さらには外資系のホテルが建設され、悲願であった高松環状道路の整備など社会資本整備を加速することで、地元の雰囲気も一気に好転すると考えます。デフレマインドから脱却して地方創生の先頭に立つチャンスだと確信しています。新年の幕開けにあたり、改めて皆さまに感謝を申し上げ、地域の発展のためにも全力で取り組むことをお約束いたします。本年も変わらぬご支援とご協力を賜りますよう、よろしくお願い申し上げます。
As the new year begins, I would like to extend my greetings to all of you. I sincerely hope that the new year will be filled with health and happiness for you all.
Advances in science and technology are drastically changing our lives. In particular, it is important to incorporate new technologies such as AI (artificial intelligence) into society while respecting human ethics and values. To this end, clear rules and laws are necessary, and the Digital Society Promotion Headquarters will work proactively.
Transparency of political funds is also an important issue in order to gain the trust of the public. We will ensure the transparency of political funds by promoting digitization and will advance discussions including the revision of the Political Funds Regulation Act.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone for their tremendous support during last year's local elections. As a result, the national government, prefectures, and municipalities came together to create a system for promoting policy. We will continue to accelerate the development of local social infrastructure and aim to be at the forefront of regional revitalization.
We look forward to your continued support and cooperation this year. We will do our best for you this year as well.
